As an amateur red wine enthusiast, I know the difficulties in making good sense of an exciting choice of Australian reds. Reading MW tasting notes don't exactly help when the recommendation is to drink 5 to 25 years later.

2007 ARBOLEDA MERLOT CHILE
Purple/ Ruby, acidic, past expiry baked on
palate, smells of brie.Berries
overpowered by acidity. 3/10 23-6-2012
